Company Overview
GPM Controls is the manufacturer of the Schrupp bladder accumulator and is the exclusive North American representative for Roth Hydraulics piston accumulator products. Owned and operated out of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, we pride ourselves on providing quality accumulators, repair kits, and accessories. Our knowledgeable team is ready to answer your questions as well as provide exceptional customer service and timely delivery for any type of accumulator or accessories.
We sell through distributors, but will, also, work directly with clients to provide components and/or consultation for special projects where hydraulic accumulators can make your machine more efficient, safe and convenient.
Dan Turner, President
In the early 1980’s, after college, Dan joined his parent’s hydraulic service business. He, also, started his own hose and fittings business and, in 1993, upon his parent’s retirement, he bought their business. In 1996, he started an automation arm of the hydraulic service company.
In 2016, Dan started GPM Controls to handle the Schrupp Accumulator Program which he had purchased to enter the accumulator manufacturing market.
Dan is a past President and current board member of the Equipment Service Association (ESA). He is an Accredited Instructor for the IFPS and has taught courses for the local community college and trade schools as well as presented at seminars for the PA Dept of Agriculture, ASME and numerous other groups.
Ken Kirk, National Sales Director
Before joining the GPM Controls team, Ken was the President and General Manager of Schrupp Industries, Inc. and HL Hydraulic Inc. He has over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing and sales of hydraulic systems, coolant systems, and circulating oil lubrication systems as well as specialized experience with high pressure water hydraulics and hydraulic accumulators.
Katelyn Dodds, Office Manager
Prior to coming onboard with GPM Controls where she manages administrative and customer service duties, Katelyn worked as the Customer Service Representative for a world renowned classical ballet school where she handled responsibilities ranging from processing of all the incoming students as well as students coming in from around the world for the 5-Week summer program to parent requests/concerns to event handling during the school’s major seasonal production, the Nutcracker.
